  • A Fairy Basslet (macro closeup). This type of small fish is common on reefs all over the Caribbean. They are usually very shy, but when you get close enough their color is so bright that it seems to bleed over to overwhelm everything else in the scene. • Neck Crab on coral (macro closeup). This very small crab is actually quite common all over the Caribbean, but can be very hard to notice. A type of "decorator crab," it is a master at camouflage, decorating itself with plants or other small animals to blend in and then remaining motionless and undetected.
